Description

This resource provides a puzzle for students to complete, while evaluating square roots and cube roots to solve problems. The answer to each problem corresponds to a letter in the puzzle, which reveals a quote by Pythagoras. There are two versions of the puzzle, one in portrait format and one in landscape format. Also included are answer keys for both formats.

This is a great review worksheet of perfect squares and cubes. There is an error on the paper. Problem F and Problem M have the same answer. If you change one of them to equal -9 and then change the corresponding box to -9, it will fix the error and not cause any other repeats. Also, the directions need to be changed to say, "Write the letter for that problem in the corresponding boxES...." since the same letter is used for all of the corresponding boxes.
