This interactive Google Slides activity is a great way for students to practice the standard division algorithm. Dragging numbers into place makes the learning hands on and engaging. The variety of problems provides good practice opportunities. Easy to use and effective for reinforcing division skills in 5th grade.

Students liked being able to see where they made errors and very easy for students to manipulate on the slides. Will definitely use again next year.

This was very helpful for students to make sure the placing was correct with the standard algorithm. It also was a great opportunity to see student work. Used as independent practice and requires snapshots of scratch paper--mandate in my class virtual or face-to-face..
