This was perfect resource not only for review but in 5th grade our kids have the opportunity to do an overnight camping trip. We use parts of this resource for our kids that choose to stay back from the trip and do a camping theme in the classroom.

This resource's camping theme works PERFECTLY for us because in fifth grade, our students have the option to attend a 3 day overnight camp. We do this review about a month or so after we get back from camp, and it's a great way to tie in things we did or learned at camp. The students make some really great connections because of it.

Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals to hundredths, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used.
Add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators (including mixed numbers) by replacing given fractions with equivalent fractions in such a way as to produce an equivalent sum or difference of fractions with like denominators. For example, 2/3 + 5/4 = 8/12 + 15/12 = 23/12. (In general, š˜¢/š˜£ + š˜¤/š˜„ = (š˜¢š˜„ + š˜£š˜¤)/š˜£š˜„.)
