Description

Can math review actually EXCITE your students?! 4th grade math skills are practiced while enjoying time at camp! Practicing place value, prime, composite, rounding, angles, fractions, decimals and more has never been so exciting!

Each day, campers will make an activity choice and then enjoy lunch math problems and problems representing the Campwide Activity. To make it fun, when they miss a problem, they have a BUG BITE! Is there anything worse than mosquito bites at camp?!

These problems will make your students THINK DEEPLY, just like your state test! This includes word problems where students must answer multiple parts to a question.

This activity practices math skills while including humor and excitement! This is great for end of the year for fourth grade, but it is also great for BEGINNING OF THE YEAR for 5th grade teachers to see what their students remember from 4th grade! Trust me, your "campers" will BEG for more days at Camp Lottamatha!

-->Looking for FIFTH GRADE Camp Lottamatha? Go HERE! <--

Note to teachers who have already purchased the End of 5th Grade Version--some of the questions are the same in this product as in that one but not many. The names of the Camp Choice activities are the same (hiking, canoeing, etc), but most problems are different. Just FYI!

What makes this activity different than other fourth grade math products on TpT?

✔ students love pretending to be a camper at Camp Lottamatha

✔ standard and word form problems

✔ includes optional pictures of camp to put on your screen each day to make the camp-like experience come to life

✔ students enjoy the humor of trying to not get bug bites

✔ teachers can tell which skills need more work because of which ones get the most "bug bites"

INCLUDES:

--teacher tips

--screens for each day

--pages ready to print (2 per page for easy copying; I understand not having many copies!)

--answer keys

--"bug bite" problems that can either be math problems OR a silly task to make students laugh (teacher choice on which set to give out)

❖ Math Resources Galore!!! ❖
