In this INTERACTIVE Statistics Task Cards, students will use provided information from statements or visuals to answer questions about quadratic functions.
The cards will ask students to identify key concepts:
- Identifying parts of a data set and what they mean (mean, median, mode, box, whisker, outlier, etc.)
- Describing a set of data involving standard deviations
- Identify true/false statements about various forms of statistics
- and more!
This is a great activity to play for practice when working through understanding or reviewing the skill to maintain mastery. This would be a great group activity to build discourse as you work on association and causation relationships in your classroom.
This LOW-PREP activity is easy to implement in your math stations or as a quick activity in your classroom to determine students' understanding of the concept.
