Description
Many site and districts have already deconstructed the CCSS...at least I hope so!!! LOL!
Anyways...I went through the standards with a "fine tooth comb" and broke each RL and RI Standard down into 3-5 essential learning targets. There is room to mark the following:
D: Developing
M: Meeting
E: Exceeding
This will be a useful tool for Evaluations, such as OTES in Ohio. More importantly, it is a great way for students and their instructor to keep track of progress toward mastery of learning target, eventually mastering the standard.
I plan to have each student include this in his/her data folder helping students gain more ownership of their progress. Likewise, students will keep evidence in this folder. These folders will then serve as a guide for student-lead conferences.
Thanks for looking!! Feedback is always appreciated!!! This document is in Word format, so it is editable!!!
Note: I excluded RL 10 and RI 10, as I view them as a cumulative standard for the entire course/year.
Sincerely, Buzz Bucks
