I created this Math Learning Map to help students become more independent throughout the Daily Math Centers and take ownership in their learning.
This Math Learning Map is given to each student at the beginning of the week with their differentiated tasks listed beside each star. The student selects which activities to complete during each day of rotations. When the activity is completed, they color in the star next to that activity. They take the learning map with them throughout the rotations. At the end of the week, the students are accountable for their completed Math Learning Map and receive a grade based on the number of correctly completed tasks. The Math Learning Map becomes their assessment for completing the centers. Any skill that is not mastered on the current weeks Math Learning Map can be carried over into the student's Math Learning Map for the next week.
