- Printable PDF with 24 task cards, game card, and storage cover.
Digital resource details:
- Students click "Present" on the Google Slide or PowerPoint to start.
- Students choose where to begin by selecting one of three options on the first slide
- Each slide provides simple instructions so students know what they need to do
- Students choose from 3 multiple choice options for their answer
- Students write their work for the problem on the provided accountability worksheet
- Students are motivated by gathering an explorer story piece for each correct answer
- All 24 problems total are separated into three differentiated groups that provide more or less scaffolding.
Printable task cards details:
- Comes with 24 task cards covering subitizing.
- Task cards have 3 different types of subitizing. Counting hands, counting random dots, and counting from a rekenrek.
- Each student has a "Loot Box" game board. When a student gets an answer correct, they add a coin to their Loot Box.
- Students check for the correct answer by flipping the task card.
- Whoever has the most coins at the end of the deck wins.
- An accountability page is provided to show student work.
