Description
Subtraction Word Problems for 1st Grade CCSS - Pirate Theme
This is a set of 10 subtraction word problems that are common core aligned for 1st grade math. The problems are all between 0-10. Each problem comes with a space to draw a picture, a number line, a place to write the equation, and a space for the answer. This set of story problems is pirate themed, but I have additional themes as well. You can buy them all now in my Growing Bundle, and as a bonus, you'll get all the upcoming themes at no further cost. It's a great deal.
There are two different types of subtraction equations represented in this set. Seven of the problems are in a X - Y = ____ format. The other seven are in a X - ____ = Y format. This is great subtraction practice for the kids and can be used as part of a lesson plan, morning work, math centers, or homework.
Let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to help.
Thank you!
