Description

Special Education Task Box: Subtraction within a 10-frame

Master Subtraction within 10 with these Ten Frame Task Cards. Using missing Pirate Treasure and Cookies, students learn that subtracting decreases a group.

These subtraction task cards can be used to help students generate subtraction sentences starting with 10 objects. They are generic and can be used throughout the school year. These are great to laminate and use at math centers, small groups or independent work stations. You will need dry eraser markers or small manipulative numbers (magnetic letters, mini-erasers, number beads, etc.) for filling in the subtraction sentence and blanks on the task card.

The child recognizes that taking away (subtracting) decreases the number of objects in a group.

What's Included?

  • 1 Task Box Cover
  • 12 Pirate Treasure Task Cards (1-10 and 2 blank included)

How many treasures are missing?

  • 12 Cookie Task Cards (1-10 and 2 blank included)
