No Prep and Easy to Use!
Ready to use suffix practice worksheet, graphic organizers, and activities. This resource came about when I was looking for resources to teach fifth graders about prefixes and suffixes and realized that their knowledge was limited. So, I made this product so that my students can practice and figure out how to break apart words to improve reading comprehension.
This resource includes:
1. Anchor Charts: One with all the definitions and examples, then suffix and root words separately.
2. Worksheets: Determine the meaning, use the words in sentences, and breaking the words apart to determine meaning
3. Suffix cut apart activity
4. Graphic Organizers: two different kind to dig deeper with different words
This resource can be used as a center, word work, or as a mini-lesson/homework.
