Summarizing for Google Slides

Learn to summarize with these digital task card for Google Slides. These are perfect to practice summarizing fiction stories using different strategies. Use the anchor charts to teach and practice (somebody, wanted, but, so, then) and (beginning, middle, end) strategies. Students can also type a summary.

Students can choose three different paths:

1. Drag and drop- SWBST (5 passages and draggables)

2. Drag and drop- BME (5 passages and draggables)

3. Open Response- Type a summary in paragraph form (5 passages)

For each path, students will read a fiction short story. Then, they will either type or drag and drop to complete the summary.

How to use this product:

This product is made to work with Google Slides. Upon download, a copy will be in your drive. Use this product in edit mode.
