These Summarizing Google Slides are perfect to practice summarizing fiction stories using the strategy somebody, wanted, but, so, then. These slides are differentiated. Students will read a fiction passage, then choose how to respond:

1. drag and drop key details into the SWBST graphic organizer

2. type in the SWBST graphic organizer

3. Type in paragraph form

The opening slide reviews "someone, wanted, but, so, then" so students know what to look for.
