Description

The Ultimate Tangram Challenge is the perfect activity to start or end a math geometry unit. This product uses the basic polygons (square, rectangle, triangle, parallelogram, trapezoid) in a tangram. Students must manipulate the pieces to see how many of the 5 shapes they can make. Helps students learn perseverance when working through a challenging activity. Great for upper elementary, gifted, or homeschoolers.

To make this activity easier to assign in digital form (in google classroom) I have added a YouTube video. In it, I explain to students how to do the activity and show a couple of examples.

This product comes with:

a tangram template to cut out on card stock in 2 sizes

a blank tangram chart

a master key of how to make all different shapes

a master key of y/n chart

blank sketch pages in 2 sizes

google option on certain pages

YouTube How to Video
