October Multiplication Madness!

Objective: To practice multiplication through fun, themed word problems.

Instructions for Use

  • Print the task cards on cardstock for durability.
  • Cut out each card and mix them up for students to work through.
  • Encourage students to show their work on the back of each card.
  • Optionally, incorporate a game element by having students race against the clock or each other to solve the problems.

Additional Ideas

  • Reflection Questions: After solving, ask students to write a sentence about how they solved a specific problem.
  • Group Activity: Have students work in pairs to discuss their thought processes.
