Arrrrgh your students ready to practice telling time? This fun pirate themed math activity helps first graders practice reading clocks and telling time to the hour, half hour, and quarter hour. Students will read each analog clock and record the correct digital time on their Time Treasure Map. Matching cards are also included if you are looking to add even more fun to this math center.

Movement Activity/Scavenger Hunt-

As an alternative to a math center, use the cards as a movement activity. This is one of my favorite activities every time I teach this unit! Have your students go on a treasure hunt by spreading the time cards around your classroom, hallways, or campus. Students can use clipboards as they move around recording the time from each clock onto their treasure map.
