Description
A set of 10 worksheets and a quiz on telling time, designed for third grade level. Briefly reviews telling time to the nearest hour or half hour, then nearest five minutes, but mostly focuses on telling time to the nearest minute. It also introduces naming the time in words for fractions of an hour ("half past", "a quarter after", and "a quarter to", with mention of regional variations such as "a quarter of").
Can be used in tutoring or as a resource with specific students who need more focused practice on the concept. May be used to quickly review concept or help student re-learn it. I recommend using different pages on different days so the student has to move information in and out of memory more.
I created this to use with my tutoring students; if they're having difficulty telling time on an analog clock, these worksheets always give them the practice they need to become successful with the concept!
