Excellent ELA test prep and review activity!

This activity reviews the five common text structures that authors use and then gives students a chance to write their own brief paragraphs demonstrating their knowledge.

Scaffolded with a sample paragraph and signal words, this higher ordered thinking activity can be used independently, in small groups or with partners. Use the finished paragraphs as a wall display, the possibilities are endless.
