Text to English Grammar Daily Writing Activities for week 1, is a fun new take on daily oral language exercises. Instead of just proofreading and correcting punctuation, grammar, and spelling of boring sentences, the student will be translating the sentence from "text talk" into a sentence using proper writing conventions.
This Common Core Standard-aligned activity is broken into weeks to cover the whole year. Each week there are 8 text talk sentences that the student will need to translate and correct. This download contains a sample from week one.
This is a great activity to reinforce grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization skills in a modern communication style that students use frequently. It helps students see the vast difference in "text talk" and apply the proper writing conventions at appropriate times.

- Interactive Notebook foldable activity
- Printable
• Answer keys
• Common Core Standards alignment for Grades 6-12. This is included at the end of the unit so if you do not need it, you can easily discard it without changing the unit itself.
