Description
Before Thanksgiving break, kids get ansty! Get them out of their seats with this math activity that requires them to use:
-group work (recommended to work with students of similar math abilities)
-critical thinking
-logical reasoning
-real-life application (how to manage money shopping for Thanksgiving dinner)
-multiplication of decimals (or repeated addition of decimals depending upon how far you've taught in your pacing calendar)
Provided:
-shopping lists (tiered to 5 levels of difficulty)
-instructions
-shop signs
-graphic organizer for students to organize their work

This activity is GREAT for review during the week of Thanksgiving. It always takes my students 1-2 class periods to complete.
