Description

Fun creative writing Thanksgiving activity that allows your students to look at Thanksgiving from several different points of view. Students are provided the opportunity to use first person narrative, personification and inference skills to figure out how simple objects, people or animals might look at Thanksgiving in a different way; for example how would a pig feel when everyone is paying attention to the turkeys or a college football player when he has to be gone for the holidays. Then students will reflect how their own family members feel in a poetry project.
