Chapter Test for The Giver. Forces students to prove their understanding of how incidents in the story affect different aspects such as plot, character interactions, how incidents changed a character's perspective or decisions, and explain themes.

Vocabulary added from the text. Students must use content from the story, include a context clue, and the sentence must be original. (I had students define any words they did not know as we read on a vocabulary chart)
