Rock Cycle: This HUGE integrated unit on the rock cycle combines hands-on science activities with reading and writing informational text. Students will love these engaging rock cycle activities. Students will learn about the three types of rocks: sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. Students will learn how these rocks are formed and reformed through the rock cycle. This unit is full of all kinds of engaging activities. It includes inserts for interactive notebooks or lapbooks that can also be used independently. It includes 9 pages of informational text on the rock cycle and response pages, including text-dependent questions that help with comprehension and practicing reading skills.
