If you go to the NASA https://spaceplace.nasa.gov/seasons/en/ You can read about winter sun vs summer sun on the northern hemisphere. I know it can be confusing since there are so many resources out there with misleading information. I teach science, so I always try to use a reliable source such as NASA, or US NAVAL OBSERVATORY, or THE Rose space center @ museum of natural history. I like your resource, but you need to update & change the reading about the winter solstice as it is incorrect in the reading passage. I didn't notice it until I was ready to give students the passage.
