This resource is aimed at those studying growth mindset, metacognition, or classrooms that do STEM or Project Based Learning. It involves your students using basic materials to design and create a Thinking Cap. Using their imagination, students create a cap to wear and "purchase" items to design with (small budget of $15), so math is incorporated as well. Students will go through the design process, by drawing sketches, planning out their idea, and evaluating their design. What fun to make a product they can actually use! This is perfect to use when discussing the brain and its function.
