Awesome Project!! The kids had a great time constructing their houses.! Good for S.T.E.A.M. !!!
So FUN!
I was disappointed after paying for this project ... It doesn't go into much depth as to what the expectation are and it doesn't include a rubric. If I would have given this 1 piece of paper to my students and told them to get started, they would have had NO idea what to do. I think it's a GREAT idea but needs a little more information added with it.
I'm so sorry you were not happy, Audrey. While I understand what you mean about a rubric, my rubric was simply the check-off list. I did not expect students to create a big project (although many did)- if students could draw the lines, angles, shapes, etc. on a crinkled piece of paper I was ok with it (this meant they mastered the standard- neatness/turning in on time/etc. are not counted in my standards-based reporting). My fourth grade students took it and ran with it. Hopefully you will find some use in the purchase and can add a rubric with specifics for your classroom!
Thanks.
You're welcome! :-)
