Adding with three numbers takes a little practice! Make the triple addend practice fun with these holiday/Christmas themed activities!

Wreath Craftivity: Student use manipulatives to brainstorm three addends of a given number and record number sentences on lights for their wreath!

Materials given:

-Wreaths with given sums (10-16)

-Lights with blank number sentences for three addends

-Bulletin board title also given: "Deck the halls with three addends - fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!"

Printable Practice:

* Spin for 3 - Using a paperclip and pencil, students spin three numbers to add together. **3 Levels for the different ability levels in your classroom!

* Find the Missing 3rd part - Using part-part-whole models, students solve for the unknown 3rd addend to solve the number sentence!

Write the Room Assessment - Digital or Printable Task Cards!

Two options:

1) Print task cards for "write the room" style

2) Use QR Codes to link to images on Google Drive
