Teaching a Tier 2 Math intervention group, but cannot find any materials to progress monitor your students? You're in luck! This no-prep set of Tier II Math progress monitoring sheets allows you to check in to see how your students are progressing toward mastery of the kindergarten Operations & Algebraic Thinking standard K.OA.A.3 - Decomposing Numbers to 10.

This resource comes with four sets of recording sheets and includes options for any way that you assess your students: weekly, monthly, per quarter, trimester, semester.

Looking to have your students reflect on and monitor their own progress? This kit comes with low-prep options for your students to track their progress and set goals.

Since this standard lends itself well to both DOK 1 and DOK 2 assessments, there are progress monitoring sheets for both Depth of Knowledge levels.

Since Tier II intervention cycles run anywhere from 6-9 weeks, each of the progress monitoring sets mentioned below contain 10 different sheets. If you run your intervention cycles for six weeks, you will have some extra pages for a beginning, middle and ending benchmark score. You can also use the extra sheets for extra progress monitoring or as options for which pages you choose to use.

It’s the rest of the pages that disappoint me. I feel like the number of pages offered is misleading as far as worksheets for students. I did read the description and was aware of other resources in the set, but I never thought there would only be 37 practice sheets out of 130 pages. The description should be clearer on how many (or how few) sheets were usable for practice. One more thing, I purchased two different sets and noticed duplicates in these sets (ex: the progress sheets are the same in both sets). A waste for sure in the second set. This is a breakdown of what I got. The numbers are approximate but close. 3 Introduction pages 13 "Cover pages" 65 Progress pages 10 Answer keys (for kindergarten math?) 2 My Goals sheets 37 Worksheets I have to say the number of progress sheets, answer keys, and duplicates from another set disappointed me the most. Saying all of this, I may still buy other resources from this seller because I liked the actual worksheets (the rest I won’t use at all). However, my expectations of what I will be getting will be different than this time.

I am glad that you found the usable sheets to your liking. I understand that you may only find 37 of the pages usable, but in my teaching experience, I have come to know that not only do different teachers teach in different ways, but students learn in different ways. In order to accommodate this, I differentiate my resources to meet the varying needs of the teachers purchasing my resources. I provide multiple ways for them, and their students, to use the resource. (i.e. some teachers teach missing numbers at the beginning of the number sentence, some teachers teach it in the middle and some teach where the students find the missing number at the end). Not only does it depend on how you teach it, it can progress. You can start with the missing number at the end, then progress to the middle or the beginning. I try to cover all of my bases. Not all pages will be applicable to each buyer or their students, but I try to create something that all teachers or students would benefit from. This resource also provides ways for students to track their progress (which can be very valuable for a true RTI system), and there are answer keys (another important step in my opinion as a teacher). I understand that you may not have your students use all 345 pages (or have them track their progress/use the answer key) but for others, there may be 345 usable pages. All of my resources include 'notes to the teacher' which as a teacher I would find valuable, that explain how to use the resource. They also all include 'my progress' pages and answer keys. I hope that you understand, and find it useful, that you will get all of these each time your purchase a resource from me. I sincerely hope that your students will benefit from the practice of these pages, even if you only choose to utilize one set of them. Maybe in the future you may be able to utilize one of the many other sets. :)
