This is the new and improved UPDATED version! (No worries, I have kept the old version at the end)
Here you will find both a primary and intermediate list of time order words/sequential words/temporal words perfect for students to use in their writing. I have provided each list in both color and in black and white so students can color the pages in. I have provided a full page version and half sheet version, too. (No need to shrink at the copier!) I have students glue these in the backs on their writing notebooks or place on their desks. I've used the full page versions to glue in, but I usually have the students fold them first. The half sheets are perfect, though!

Great for narrative writing, personal narrative, focus on a single moment, expository writing, descriptive writing, etc..

I love this page of time order words! I teach second grade, and the primary version in color helps students be able to find appropriate words for the beginning, middle and end of a story they are writing. Printing it in color helps students see visually which words can work in the appropriate part of the story.
