This math journal set focuses on graphs and data for second grade. The learning log is part of a well-rounded math experience. Unit 9 Graphs and Data Focus
•Analyze data represented in pictographs, bar graphs, and line plots and communicate results: ask and answer questions about the data represented in pictographs and bar graphs.
•Explain that the length of a bar in a bar graph or the number of pictures in a pictograph represents the number of data points for a given category.
•Determine the data needed to answer a posed question and collect the data using various methods.
