Each Total Math lesson has a math technology game students can do on a device (linked for one click to Google Classroom). Technology math stations provide students with daily practice of learning in a highly engaging format. Students complete the interactive technology station as part of their workstations. This is a one-click no-prep math workstation for every day of the year.
Unit 9 Graphs and Data Focus
•Analyze data represented in pictographs, bar graphs, and line plots and communicate results: ask and answer questions about the data represented in pictographs and bar graphs.
•Explain that the length of a bar in a bar graph or the number of pictures in a pictograph represents the number of data points for a given category.
•Determine the data needed to answer a posed question and collect the data using various methods.
•Organize a collection of data with up to four categories using pictographs and bar graphs with intervals of one or more.
•Draw a picture graph and a bar graph to represent a data set with up to four categories.
•Write and solve one‐step word problems involving addition or subtraction using data represented within pictographs and bar graphs with intervals of one.
