In Unit 9 Measurement, Students Will:
• Use nonstandard measuring tools to measure the length of objects describing the lengths to the nearest unit.
• Illustrate and describe that the length of an object is the number of same‐size units of length that reach from one end of the object to the other.
• Measure the same object/distance with units of two different lengths and describe how and why the measurements differ.
• Order three objects by length; compare the lengths of two objects indirectly by using a third object.
• * In some states- measure the weight, or volume of the same object or container with two different units and describe how and why the measurements differ. *Different assessments included to align to different state requirements.
