Description

These performance-based learning scales are just the "ticket" to help your students track their progress on ALL Grade 4 Math standards for the whole year.

Each page has 4 tickets that serve as a learning scale. Tickets 1-4 are scaffolded to mirror Levels 1-4 on a learning scale. Ticket 1 is the easiest task, Ticket 2 is more difficult, and Ticket 3's task meets the rigor of the standard. Ticket 4 is left blank as a "Teacher's Choice".

There is no "wrong" way to use the Tracking Progress ticket pages!

Use them as:

- a formative assessment

- reference notes to glue in students' interactive Math notebooks

- a way to collect data

- a way to determine which students mastered the standard

- a performance-based learning scale that helps students track their own progress

ANSWER KEY INCLUDED

A freebie of the six Math NBT standards is available in my store.

This is very helpful in assessing student mastery of/progression towards standards. I would have really loved if there had been a level 4 also - or at least some ideas as to how to assess. That's always the trickiest for me to determine.
