Welcome! I'm a National Board Certified, 22-year veteran teacher in Florida. Over the years I've taught all subjects in grades 3 - 5.... so I have used every one of my resources with students at one point or another! Currently, I enjoy wrangling 5th graders and getting them excited about ELA and Social Studies. I'm passionate about Writing instruction, creative Social Studies projects, standards-based holiday activities, and anything related to the novel Number the Stars! This partnered activity uses penny and dime manipulatives to give students practice adding fractions with denominators of 10 and 100.
