Description

Students practice working with two parallel lines cut by a transversal by completing a math maze! They draw arrows to show the path that they took to get from the start of the maze to the exit.

This download contains three different mazes for teachers to use to differentiate their instruction.

Level 1 maze questions were designed for students who are struggling to pick up this concept. Students simply need to know whether the angle they are trying to find is congruent to or supplementary to the given angle.

Level 2 maze questions were designed for the average student. To complete this maze students will need to write and solve an equation for the variable x.

Level 3 maze questions were designed for stronger students. To complete the maze, students will need to be able to determine the degree of the bolded angle. In order to do this, students will first need to write and solve an equation for x.

This is a a great differentiation tool in the classroom. The students can progress at their own pace. "Walk" themselves to higher levels.
