This is a modified version of the UFLI Lesson 48 Decodable Passage titled: Chips and Dip, I have added visual supports as well as four comprehension questions that go with the text. I give this to my students on Friday to assess their reading fluency and comprehension. This resource could also be used during small group, and students could even highlight or underline words in the passage that go with the spelling pattern for the week.
