Description

This standards aligned resource is part of my Understanding Integers Bundle and introduces negative numbers and integers on a number line. Students will be introduced to language describing positive and negative numbers and will plot integers describing real world situations on number lines. Examples include problems dealing with elevation and finances.

Lesson Objectives:
1) Write integers representing real world situations.
2) Plot integers on a number line.

Notes are presented in an organized format for easy lesson presentation and post lesson study and review. Lesson objectives are included in the student notes and a summary box is included for lesson reflection and wrap up.
