Description

This is a great moment for all your creative minds to ger a chance to shine even if they might not be the strongest in a mathematics classroom. It is often so hard to get a chance to make opportunities for kids to be creative in upper level math that I love getting to offer this Unit Circle project as out unit assessment for trig.

Included is the rubric and calculations sheet that I give to all students. They are given 2-3 weeks depending on the timeline to complete this project and turn it in with the rubric sheet attached.

I then pick a top 12-15 (depends on the year) and students (as well as staff) are invited to come in and vote on their favorites. I give the top 3 extra credit and this year had decided to start a trophy as well.

Under the thumbnails I have included pictures of one year's top projects.

This is a well-laid out project. Love all the components to assess the knowledge of the unit circle.
