This mad lib activity will challenge your students to find the rate of change, initial value, and answer real life problems created from silly words that THEY pick! It is a great activity to add into your unit on functions!

Students are asked to come up with a variety of words. They use these words to complete the 10 word problems they are given to make some pretty silly situations! Students must then find the initial value and rate of change along with answering some follow-up questions! Check out the preview above to see!
