Description
This activity requires students to think critically while using addition, subtraction, and multiplication while on "Vacation" together. I use this activity just before spring break each year for two reasons: 1) It makes a great test review just before state testing. 2) It gives students an appreciation for the sacrifices parents make to take spring break trips. The kids LOVE this activity. It's fun for me too!

My 2nd graders loved this activity! I used Monopoly money for this activity and my students worked in groups with their whiteboards. I used it as a last-day-before Spring Break activity and I plan to use it next year, as well!
