Provided in this set is 24 Valentine's Day Themed math task cards that will work perfectly for the month of February. Each math task card deals with fluently adding and subtracting multi-digit whole numbers. The math story problems are different allowing the students to use the standard algorithm as they solve each problem. It is fun and engaging way to have students solve these problems. Some of these problems do involve money. All answers are whole positive numbers.

Use these 24 short response cards to help your students understand and grasp the concept to fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers (CCSS 4.NBT.B.4). These task cards are ideal for test prep and will work well at math centers, stations, for partner work. I personally love using this with my whole class as a SCOOT type activity.
A student answer sheet is included along with an answer key for self-checking or teacher use.
