The Variability Maze Activity is a fun and engaging activity for students to practice calculating the range and interquartile range (IQR) from various data sets. Students begin with the problem located at the START. The answer they calculate will determine which path they take to reach the FINISH. Students can answer the remaining problems that were not included in the maze path for extra practice (if applicable). Two versions are included; one with 16 squares and one with 9 squares. Keys and recording sheets are also included for both versions.
