Description
We used this graph during "V" week in our classroom and discussed healthy eating and vegetables. We cut up all of these vegetables and gave each child a sampler plate. We tried each one by one, deciding good adjectives to describe each. At the end, we let the kids vote on which their favorite was. We graphed it on our teacher board in front of the room, and the kids transposed that information onto their own worksheet. We then asked leading questions afterwards. For example, "Which had the most/least? Were there any ties?" They loved it and thought it was a little competition between the vegetables.
