This is a Veteran's Day Webquest that I use with my middle school students. It is best used in Google Slides, and it is fully editable. An answer key is also included!

Intro: Trivia Question

PART 1: Create a Flyer to Thank the Veterans!

Students: Use Google Slides to create a Flyer! See the .jpg example below & the Google Slides example on the next slide.

Part 2: The History of the Holiday

Students will read an article and watch a video to better understand the history of Veterans Day

Part 3: Webquest!

Students will research online for answers to various questions. ANSWER KEY IS PROVIDED FOR THIS PART.

Part 4: Guidelines for Displaying the Flag

Enrichment: Create a Word Cloud
