I like the variety of activities, but I wish there was more information about polarity and the special properties of water in there. However, those are mostly important for life science and this is listed as a Earth/phyiscal science resource so perhaps that's too be expected. On a related note, I wish there were visuals/clip art for the special properites similar to what is done for the chemical properties, but I can add those myself. My special education students definitely prefer this style of notes to long-hand, and they are more likely to actually go back and review the information this way.

Hi Elizabeth! I love this feedback because - although I haven't updated this resource - everything you listed in your feedback is exactly what I have coming to this resource. I have made many of these "improvements" to its digital counterpart - can you please email me so I can send it to you (complimentary)? It will include some free supplemental resources that will really help drive home some of the key ideas in this resource. Also, my plan was to add lessons about aquifers and drinking water to this unit. Please know adding lessons to this unit means I must add resources to all its "sister" resources (the presentations, passages, homework, etc) and I plan to spend a year doing this with ALL my units. I'd love your input - I see you like the topics about special properties but please let me know about anything else. My email is dsj.elkowitz@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Stephanie

This was amazing! I was so thankful to find something like this. It was so interactive compared to our curriculum and simplified it to where students understood a lot more compared to other years I have taught these standards with just the book.

Interactive notebooks are the BEST. Without this resource I'd be lost. Great notes. Love that the notes are editable so I can tailor them to my standards.
