Week 14 Fun Facts Morning Journal

Description

If you are tired of using paper in the morning I have a solution for you. I love using google slides and setting up a question or a fun fact for my students to respond to. Last year, I did just random questions and this year I decided to look up fun facts and write a question for them to respond to. I have made week 2 for free so you can look over it and see if you would like to purchase any more weeks and there is a bundle coming soon. I started the fun facts journal with week 2 because week one always has procedures and rules to go over and I just have week 1 all by itself that you can purchase separately.

Here is how I use the morning journal in my classroom. I have the journal entry up first thing on the board so when they walk into my room they know to get out their journal and start writing the date at the top. Next they will know to write the starter sentence that I already have typed on the journal entry. So they will mirror what is displayed on the board. Next they will need to finish responding to the fun fact question of the day.

I have my students use a plain notebook to record the morning journal but you can also print it out if you have the resources and bind it to create a morning journal as well.
