Weekly Lesson Planner
Share

Description

When I first began my teaching journey, I struggled with how to plan coherent, effective lessons in reasonable amounts of time. I'd stay up late into the night attempting to write lessons that both satisfied expectations of pedagogy and rigor and had real, practical, in-the-moment application in my classroom.

Does this sound like you? If so, maybe my Weekly Lesson Planner can help make the lesson planning process more accessible to you.

In this planner, you'll find:

  • A row-by-row breakdown of the most critical lesson components (according to modern instructional theory), accompanied by brief, bullet-pointed explanations of each component
  • A separate "materials" row beneath each lesson component, so that you can list any materials or links needed to execute that component

The idea behind this planner is that you can have your lesson plan and your instructional materials and/or links all in once place.

Please feel free to modify this lesson planner in any way that suits your individual teaching needs.
