Description
This weekly report is completed by both the student and the teacher. I always did weekly reflections as morning work every Friday. Students completed the top half, either finishing the sentences (1st & 2nd quarter) or writing a letter to their family (3rd & 4th quarter)...then they rated their behaviors for the week. After turning it in to me, I would rate their behaviors next to theirs and fill in any late/missing homework assignments. I'd ask families to sign the weekly reflections over the weekend and return to school Tuesday. This provides families with direct weekly communication and allows parents/students to see how the child opinion may differ from the teacher opinion in the rating section. It is time consuming, but totally worth it!
