When working in small group (whether in the classroom or speech therapy), visual supports can be a great way to help students monitor their voice level. Sometimes we need more help than just saying "use your inside voice!"
This is a great chart for visualizing the different types of "voices" that children can use in small group work. The visuals allow children to verbalize the different types of "voices" that can be used- (i.e.; whispering, conversation, yelling, etc.).
