Description
This bundle of PowerPoint lessons is a great tool for introducing word families (with the short vowel sound) in a fun and interactive way. It includes 15 different word families; each one presented as a separate lesson. For each lesson, students will learn to hear the ending sound within a word family and have plenty of practice reading and writing the words. Each word family PowerPoint can be taught in one session or split up over several days. This resource can be used for distance learning as well as in the classroom. Students will be actively engaged reading, writing, and sharing answers as they participate throughout the slideshow. Word families included are: -ag, -ap, -at, -ot, -og, -op, -et, --en, -ed, -it, -ig, -in, -ug, -ub, -ug.
